August 2013 Writing Playlist

I love listening to music while I write. The songs set the tone for the scene I’m writing, but they also make the entire experience more enjoyable for me since I’m an extreme lover of music. My playlists change every few weeks or so, but today I thought I’d share with you the songs that are currently filling up my inspiration juices.

Hello! My name is Katie and I like to write. If I'm not writing, I'm probably reading, running, playing with my dogs, or eating peanut butter ;)

  1. I like listening to music when I write too but I don’t have a specific playlist for it. I like to listen to something that reminds me of what I’m trying to write. I was writing something a bit posh a while ago and so I played classical music when I wrote. The characters I was writing were the types who would listen to classical music, so listening to it helped me to get into the character’s point of view.
